PSVita pets does what Nintendogs don’t
Nintendogs is a surprisingly lucrative franchise for Nintendo giving kids and adults the joy of owning a pet without ever having to pick up poop or hear it barking at 3 in the morning because it thought it heard something. (spoiler it was the dishwasher)
So it’s no surprise that Sony wants to dip its toe into the virtual pet genre but they aren’t content to just give you what you’ve been getting from Nintendo’s Nintendogs or Ubisoft’s Petz franchise.
Much like a real dog Playstation Vita Pets allows your dog to talk and show off it’s sassy personality. Using the Vita’s rear facing camera you will be able to transport your new virtual pet into the real world.
You’ll be able to take home a Dalmation, Beagle, Husky, or Labrador when it releases on the Playstation Vita.
