Rack up big combos to obliterate your enemies in retro FPS Extinction Rifts
Heavily inspired by games of yore, mostly boomer shooters in this case, a new game named Extinction Rifts is coming somewhere in what’s remaining of 2024. In Extinction Rifts, everything players hit and destroy will give more power to their special weapon, the “Adreno-Gauntlet”. You can charge it up faster by keeping your combo going, and once you release it at high power, it can ensure none in the level are still left standing. Literally. This mechanic will give the game some hefty arcade elements and there’s high replayability as far as we can see. The game will come out for PC, Xbox One, Series X|S, PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch.
