Sandberg Mag Wireless Powerbank 10000 ALU – Hardware Review
Shortly after Pokémon GO was released, powerbank sales must have skyrocketed. Nearly every serious PoGo player made sure their smartphone battery would not run dry during crucial events, and thus they would need a powerbank. These portable batteries were considered a staple for many households as well, as they were easy to bring along during small family trips or even for longer commutes. After a while, these powerbanks were sold in every type of store, and more than often, the budget models proved to be of rather low quality. With so many different types on offer, it’s not always easy to find the one that suits your needs. Today, we’ll make that choice easier for you as we discuss Sandberg’s Mag Wireless Powerbank 10000 ALU, which offers wireless charging capabilities.
Design
Sandberg’s Mag Wireless Powerbank 10000 ALU is a simple-looking powerbank without many standout features. The device has some metallic finishing touches, small LED indicators, a charging port, and a few markings on the top. It’s a classy little device, and it even looks good in an office setting, where you can rest your phone on top of it, remaining available at all times. In the end, it’s still just a powerbank, and we prefer to have a simpler design.
Comfort
Comfort plays a heavy role when looking for an ideal powerbank that’s easy to use on the go. In the case of the Mag Wireless Powerbank 10000 ALU, you’ll be treated to a light device that only weighs around 184 g. The powerbank itself measures 1,70 cm x 6,30 cm x 9,80 cm. This makes it a fairly small device, and the rounded edges also make it easy to carry it around in your pocket. Compared to older models with the same battery capacity, the Mag Wireless Powerbank 10000 ALU is rather small, which is another plus. This makes it an ideal choice for those diehard Pokémon GO players out there.

Overview
When the Mag Wireless Powerbank 10000 ALU is charged, there is actually not much more to do than hooking it up to another device via the USB-C connection or placing a device that allows wireless charging on top of the powerbank. It’s extremely simple, and the powerbank does charge your devices quicker than many other alternatives on the market. We often found ourselves simply putting our phone on the Mag Wireless Powerbank 10000 ALU when sitting at our desk, as we didn’t require a charging cable for our phone, which gave us more freedom. We tried the powerbank in combination with our Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G, which isn’t the most modern device, of course. Even so, wireless charging worked, even with our rubber protective cover still attached to the phone. Some devices also support the powerbank to safely attach itself magnetically to the phone you wish to charge.
With a capacity of 10000 mAh, you can already charge a few items. For example, we are able to charge our Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G twice and still have a tiny bit of juice left for something else. We preferred charging our device via the USB-C output, as our cover was a bit thicker, so it was harder to charge easily via wireless charging. All in all, however, everything works as it should, and the Mag Wireless Powerbank 10000 ALU doesn’t have too many bells and whistles.
Conclusion
Sandberg’s Mag Wireless Powerbank 10000 ALU is a great powerbank that offers the option to charge devices wirelessly. The 10000 mAh capacity ensures that you can charge your smartphone or other devices with ease, and the compact size and magnetic capabilities add a bit of versatility to the package. To keep things simple: if you’re looking for a decent powerbank that also allows you to charge your devices wirelessly, be sure to check this one out.
