Scarlet Hood and the Wicked Wood release postponed
Headup and Devespresso Games have announced the new official release date for Scarlet Hood and the Wicked Wood. This game was formerly scheduled for a release in February on Steam Early Access, but has now been pushed to the 8th of April.
- The release date is not the only thing that has changed as the game will have a full release on April 8 instead of launching on Steam Early Access. The game will be available in seven different languages. Those who were planning to start playing the game in February will still get this chance as they can play the game’s demo through the Steam Game festival that runs from today until the 9th of February.
Scarlet Hood and the Wicked Wood is a story-driven adventure game set in a vibrant Oz-esque fantasy world that features a non-linear story written by T.L. Riven. It has a recurring time loop with unique branching story paths and the possibility to see multiple endings.
As Scarlet, a diva in the making, you awaken in the realm of Glome after being flung over by a rogue tornado. Glome appears to be an electrifying world that brims with magic, beauty and artifacts from a bygone culture. As you lead a troop of Munchkins, you’ll encounter puzzles and have to make decisions that will influence the game’s ending.
Below you can check out the official gameplay trailer on Scarlet Hood and the Wicked Wood before you head to the Steam Game Festival to play its demo.
