‘Second Act’ update drops for The Rogue: Prince of Persia
The Rogue: Prince of Persia, the roguelite spin-off game based on Ubisoft’s famous Prince of Persia series, has gotten its first major update. The ‘Second Act’ update adds exactly what that name might have you suspect, a ton of new content to explore. That’s not all though. Player feedback has been taken into account, and a lot of quality-of-life improvements were made to make the game run better. Interestingly enough, the art also got a complete overhaul, making the game look drastically different from before. No more weird purple skin color, the colors of the game now have a more fitting scheme that doesn’t make this title stand out like a sore thumb when comparing it to others in the Prince of Persia franchise. If you enjoy the purple though, you can still make your character look like that with the new ‘skins’ feature. A new difficulty setting, localization in a bunch of different languages, and multiple save slots are also among the changes. And the game hasn’t even left Early Access yet! We’re curious to see what other changes will be made going forward.
