Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter announced

Today Bigben Interactive and Frogwares has revealed the next iteration of the Sherlock Holmes franchise, namely Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter, a crime thriller that is set to release in the spring of 2016 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter is the eighth iteration of the video game series, based on the persona of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, and tasks Holmes and his loyal friend Watson to solve five mind-blowing cases. “For the first time in his storied career, Sherlock Holmes’ ruthless logic is overwhelmed by family stories, irresistible emotions and an occult revenge.”, explained Frogwares.

Aside from having to solve five confusing cases, the player’s skills are being tested as you must move forward through dynamic action scenes while roaming freely in an open-world like terrain of the Victorian streets of London. A trailer has not yet been released but expect more info on this title fairly soon nonetheless.
