SMASH HOCKEY coming to smartphones soon
Publisher Phoenixx and developer I From Japan have announced that their strategic one-handed battler will release in Q2 of 2020 worldwide on iOS and Android devices. This game has already soft-launched in Australia and New Zealand.
In SMASH HOCKEY, you will need to move fast from side to side to dodge attacks while attacking opponents at the other end of the arena. Six colorful robots will be available to play as and each will have their own playstyles. Use invisible powers, massive cannons or stun shots to gain the upper hand and win those matches.
The game will offer a single-player mode and head-to-head online battles. In the single-player mode, there are three levels of difficulties that will determine how good the AI will be. Winning matches will provide you with battle coins that you can exchange for cosmetic customization options for your character. These can be new pucks, hammers, shields and arena floor tile customizations. In-app cosmetic purchases will grant new opportunities to quickly outfit robots and arenas in style while victory will always be determined by your skill and cunning.
SMASH HOCKEY will be free-to-play with optional in-app purchases available. The game will release in Q2 of 2020 and will support English and Japanese.
