Square Enix reveals new visual novel Paranormasight The Seven Mysteries of Honjo
Do you believe in curses? They are very much a reality in the new horror game from Square Enix. In Paranormasight The Seven Mysteries of Honjo you will find yourself all alone in a creepy supernatural 2D visual novel. Players will travel back to the Showa Period (1926-89) in a small town of Tokyo’s Sumida City named Honjo. In the city, there are different characters who hold the power of curses and it is up to you to uncover the many secrets that Honjo holds. Will you be able to solve the many puzzles and unravel the mysteries behind the seven deadly curses? Your time is limited. During the daytime you can explore freely but once the night falls you are vulnerable to attacks by others who also hold the power of curses. Will you be able to control your powers and not fall prey to predators?
Make your way through the various creepy alleyways and enjoy the panorama view of Sumida City, all captured in real life with a 360-degree camera. These views are included in the game through a cooperation with Sumida City Tourism Division, the locals and the museum.
Run and don’t look back as the game will release on PC on March 8th, with the Switch version arriving a day later, on March 9th.
