Starmancer gets an early access release date!
Indie developer Chucklefish, famous for Wargroove and Starbound, have announced that their upcoming game Starmancer is headed to Games Pass for PC later this week. In Starmancer, players are offered the chance to build their own space station. In a rather unique take, they take on the role of the station’s A.I. and are tasked with sustaining human life and regrowing bodies for the thousands of minds trapped in the memory banks. That’s easier said than done though, as players must also defend the station at any cost. The game was inspired by Dwarf Fortress.
Fans of Starbound should feel right at home in this game. You can get your first look at Starmancer in the Early Access trailer below. If you’re eager to give the game a try, you won’t have to wait very long, as it is set to debut on the 5th of August. The version of Starmancer that is launching on that date is the Early Access version, but if and when we receive news about the full version of the game, we’ll be sure to keep you posted.
