State of Mind – Release creeping in closer
Fans of “State of Mind” rejoice! It has been announced that the release of the game will be in the summer of 2018. State of Mind is a futuristic 3D thriller that is situated in Berlin 2048. The world isn’t doing so well. Various amounts of problems have popped up like: illnesses that are caused by polluted air and water, war and the lack of resources is also not helping. Remedies have been promised by governments and big companies through mostly technological progress. Humans in the public sector have been replaced by drones and humanoid robots.
Richard Nolan, the main character, is a journalist that openly shows his distrust in the technological progress. This distrust gets a backlash when he ends up in the hospital after an explosion only to find out that his son and wife have mysteriously disappeared. His family, himself included, have ended up in the middle of a storm between different and rivaling ideas to save humankind.
The choice between a dystopian reality and digital utopia will determine the fate of humanity. State of Mind lets players dive into a futuristic scenario that comes close too how our future might look.
State of Mind will release in the summer of 2018 on the PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Linux, Mac, and PC. State of Mind can now also be pre-ordered on Steam and GOG.
