Super Crome: Bullet Purgatory will invade Steam on March 19

Super Crome: Bullet Purgatory, the retro-inspired bullet hell from Stumphead Games, will launch into Steam Early Access on PC and Mac on the 19th of March. Soon pilots will be able to face off against waves of galactic monstrosities in wave-based combat, while racking up a score for global Steam Leaderboards.

A mysterious force named Purgatory, consisting of hordes of ships and monstrosities, wipes out all signs of life and colonies. As the Consul’s star pilot, you will have to face off relentless waves of alien scum and defeat menacing bosses, to put an end to Purgatory and restore order to the galaxy.

Enjoy a fast-paced combat with a diverse arsenal of weapons and abilities. Dash through overwhelming and vibrant attacks in the colorfully stylized cosmos, in retro vector-inspired graphics, with an OST that is a love letter to SNES classics. Upgrade your Crome ship and show off your skills on competitive leaderboards for the ultimate bragging rights.

For those who can’t wait, you can polish up your skills today by playing the  Game Boy-stylized prequel, Crome: Before Purgatory, which is available on Steam now, free of charge. For more information, be sure to check their official website here, or follow them on Twitter here.
