Switch release announced for Tharsis

Publisher QubicGames and developer Choice Provision have announced the release of Tharsis on the Nintendo Switch. Originally, Tharsis released on PC in 2016. After some re-balancing and optimization, they have made it ready to come to the Nintendo Switch. It will be released on the Switch on the 11th of April next month, the 50th anniversary of the ill-fated Apollo 13 mission.

Tharsis is a turn-based, space survival strategy game that demands some tough tactical and moral decisions from its players. The game offers a unique mix between a video game and a board game. Outcomes of your decisions will mostly be determined by the roll of a dice, which makes it extra exciting to choose your strategy.

In Tharsis, you take control of humanity’s first manned space mission to Mars that goes horribly wrong as it is struck by a micrometeoroid storm that cripples the ship and kills two vital crew members. To keep your mission from failing and keeping your crew alive, you will face a lot of onboard disasters that you’ll need to overcome with some tough strategical decisions.
