The Batman headed for Blu-ray and Digital next month!
Warner has announced that The Batman will be available for home viewing on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD starting July 6th. The film will also be available digitally on Apple TV, Google Play, Microsoft Xbox, Rakuten TV & Telenet from this date. In The Batman, Robert Pattinson takes on the role of the Caped Crusader as a relatively inexperienced crime fighter. When a killer sadistically targets Gotham’s elite, a trail of cryptic clues leads the World’s Greatest Detective to the underworld, where he comes into contact with Catwoman (Zoë Kravitz), the Penguin (Colin Farrell), Carmine Falcone (John Turturro) and the Riddler (Paul Dano). As the evidence begins to become clearer, his adversary’s grand plans come to light. Batman must forge new alliances, unmask the culprit and deal with the abuse of power and corruption that Gotham City has suffered from for so long.
Fortunately, Bruce Wayne doesn’t stand alone. He has become a terror to criminals and has thus come to know the dark side of the city. With only a few loyal allies – Alfred Pennyworth (Andy Serkis) and Inspector James Gordon (Jeffrey Wright) – in a city where corruption is rampant, the lone hero is a symbol of revenge for ordinary citizens. The Batman received critical acclaim when it was released earlier this year, and with a sequel already in the works, there is no better time to check out the Dark Knight’s latest outing on the silver screen.
