The Countdown has begun in The Outlast Trials
The latest update for The Outlast Trials has arrived, introducing Countdown. This is a new limited-time event for the online co-op game. In Countdown, players are equipped with time bombs and must find time extenders while completing Trials. If time runs out, the entire team fails the Trial. The event will run in two parts: from September 10 to September 24, and from September 24 to October 8. Players can earn Event Tokens by completing Trials, MK-Challenges, and secondary objectives.
Two new MK-Challenges, Empty the Vault and Poison the Cattle, are also available in Part 1 of the Countdown event, and will be included in the map pool for the roguelike mode, Escalation Therapy. Players can earn rewards by finishing these challenges, and the tokens they collect can be used in the event catalog to unlock new cosmetics. Alongside this update, Red Barrels has made several improvements, including new animations, Amp ability enhancements, and bug fixes. The Countdown update for The Outlast Trials is available now on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms.
