The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited’s DLC Imperial City access details revealed
The Elder Scrolls Online first DLC, Imperial City, has already released for PC and Mac but additional info has been revealed with the upcoming release of the DLC on Xbox One and PS4 systems. With the new DLC, the player takes on a journey in the heart of the Cyrodiilic Empire, namely The Imperial City itself, which has fallen to the Daedric Prince Molag Bal. Now all three alliances are forced to fight not just the Daedric armies but each other as well.
The Imperial City DLC is included with ESO Plus but will also be available in the in-game crown store for 2500 crowns. After purchasing the DLC game pack, you’re only a few steps away from jumping into the real action.
Before starting, you’ll need to head to Cyrodiil. You can do this by simply opening the Player Menu (Options) and navigating to the Social Menu where you’ll find the Alliance War Menu in the Group Menu. Simply travel to your home campaign, or guest in a campaign of your choosing.
Once in Cyrodiil, you’ll need to travel to one of your alliance’s two home gates and talk to the captain to obtain the quest to head into Imperial City. You can also obtain the quest from one of your alliance’s generals in the Imperial Sewers. For the Aldmeri Dominion, you can speak to Captain Mulamurr or Captain Seriril. Those with the Daggerfall Covenant can speak to Captain Durida or Captain Veranim. Those connected to the Ebonheart Pact can chat with Captain Alesace or Captain Rythe.
The map of Lake Rumare will show you three dragon icons. These icons correspond with access gates, leading the player into the Imperial Sewers. By using your transport network, you can travel as closely to Lake Rumare as you can so you can access the Imperial Sewers in a fast manner.
Upon entering Imperial City, you’ll find yourself in your alliance’s home base locations, a safe area within the Imperial Sewers. If you’ve taken the quest from one of the captains in Cyrodiil, you can continue by speaking to the general inside the Imperial Sewers. If not, the same general will offer you the needed quest line. All that is left for you to do, is to talk to the Drake of Blades to complete the quest and your adventure in the Imperial City can begin.
