The Seekers of Eternity update arrives in FFXIV Online
Today, Square Enix released a major update for FINAL FANTASY XIV Online, Patch 7.2: Seekers of Eternity. The 7.2 update introduces new content and features, including the continuation of the Warrior of Light’s journey. Players can explore the Underkeep dungeon, take on Suzaku at Level 100 in the Hell’s Kier Unreal trial, and challenge the latest tier of the Arcadion raid series: Cruiserweight Division, among other additions.

- Savage difficulty will be available on April 1, 2025
- New Trial – Recollection (Normal/Extreme)

- New Unreal Trial – Hell’s Kier (Unreal)
- Players can challenge Suzaku, one of the Four Lords, at Level 100
- Duty Support Additions – Support added for The Sunken Temple of Qarn
- PvP Updates
- Launch of PvP Series 8
- New actions for large-scale PvP battles
- Adjustments to existing abilities
- Return of Frontline (Secure) with modifications
In addition, SQUARE ENIX also announced the upcoming patches 7.21 and 7.25, scheduled for April 22nd and May 27nd, respectively. With over 30 million registered players, FINAL FANTASY XIV Online continues to welcome new adventurers. The expanded Free Trial now includes content from A Realm Reborn, Heavensward, and Stormblood, up to Patch 4.58. Free Trial players can experience hundreds of hours of gameplay and storytelling, equivalent to three full FINAL FANTASY titles, without playtime restrictions.
