The Way of the Bucket DLC arrives in Lords of the Fallen
CI Games studio HEXWORKS has just released the latest batch of free content for Lords of the Fallen. Titled The Way of the Bucket, this update is part of HEXWORKS’ 2023 content plan, with more events scheduled throughout the holiday season. As a bonus, the dark fantasy action RPG is now available at a discounted rate of up to 34% across all platforms, aligning with Black Friday promotions. In response to valuable user feedback and internal telemetry, the developers at HEXWORKS have fine-tuned the game’s balance. Notable adjustments include a significant reduction in enemy density, with some areas experiencing up to 30% fewer foes. The accuracy of ranged enemies at long distances has been dialed back, and enemy leashing has been improved to prevent players from being pursued too far, minimizing overwhelming mob clashes. In response to player demand, all bosses in the game have undergone a comprehensive overhaul, enhancing their challenge level with improved AI, additional aggressive movesets, and rebalanced hit points and damage outputs.
The Way of the Bucket introduces a new quest featuring a beloved NPC, a corresponding weapon and armor set, six new spells, and various performance, stability, and optimization enhancements. This release follows closely on the heels of The Pumpkin Patch, the game’s first post-launch content drop, which received positive feedback from the community.
