The worlds of Nier and Final Fantasy XIV Collide with patch 5.1: Vows of virtue, deeds of cruelty
The first big content update since the release of Shadowbringers delivers new story missions, alliance raid, New Game+ and much more.
Patch 5.1 is the first big update for the highly successful MMO. Besides all the new content this update adds, it also adds the first part of the Nier inspired YoRHa: Dark Apocalypse alliance raid. Which will give players a chance to play alongside android 2P and enter the twenty-four-player dungeon.
Patch 5.1 contains the following content:
- New main story missions
- New twenty-four-player alliance raid
- New Game+
- New trial: Hades (Extreme)
- New dungeon: The Grand Cosmos
- New Beast Tribe missions
- Job modifications
- Changes to collecting and crafting
- New Gold Saucer GATE: The Slice is Right
- Fellowship community system
The coming weeks will also be showered with additional content for patch 5.1, including:
- New crafter and collector content: Ishgard Restoration
- New Ultimate difficulty raid: The Epic of Alexander
- New PvP Frontline map: Onsal Hakair
- Blue mage updates
