Third Marvel’s Avengers WAR TABLE reveals more details about their upcoming Super Hero game
Just before the game launches on September 4 for PlayStation 4, Xbox, PC, and Stadia, SQUARE ENIX gave viewers an in-depth look at the game during the third Marvel’s Avengers WAR TABLE stream.
Fans who watched Marvel’s Avengers WAR TABLE live on the PlayAvengers.com channel were the first to hear details about the game’s daily and weekly missions, along with four new high-level mission types that they’ll encounter when they advance far enough in the Avengers Initiative: Villain Sectors, SHIELD Vaults, AIM’s Secret Lab and Mega Hives.
Villain Sectors are special missions that lead to epic battles with mighty bosses that players can take on as their heroes approach the highest power level of 150, while SHIELD Vaults are treasures full of resources, equipment, and secrets for players to discover and unlock.
Players who don’t shy away from a challenge can also join forces with up to three friends to complete AIM’s Secret Lab, a mission that only becomes available when players reach the highest power levels in the game. The AIM’s Secret Lab raid becomes available once a week and culminates in a massive boss fight. It will be influenced by how well a team performed on this mission.
In Mega Hives, players must fight their way up through floors full of enemies with their entire superhero teams. The higher they get, the harder it gets, and when all heroes are defeated, players have to start all over again. (cont.)
Marvel’s Avengers WAR TABLE also revealed a new post-launch hero who will appear as part of the Avengers Initiative, Kate Bishop. Kate’s Operation, “Taking AIM”, will be released in late October with a new villain and a new mystery. An apprentice to Clint Barton, Bishop has her own Heroic Skills and takedowns that only an Olympic-caliber athlete and master archer like Kate can perform.
Kate Bishop is the very first hero to be added to Marvel’s Avengers game after its launch on September 4. The story of Taking AIM begins shortly after the end of the game’s Reassemble campaign and is the first half of the storyline about the two Hawkeyes. In November, Clint Barton’s Hawkeye appears to complete the double-future and lay the foundation for what is to come.
These new post-launch heroes will be available for free to all Marvel’s Avengers owners and provide a sequel to the story world. There’s more information about Hawkeye’s storyline and other post-launch content on the way soon.
Previous Marvel’s Avengers WAR TABLES spawned other major revelations, including details about the game’s main villain, MODOK (Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing), and the reveal of Clint Barton’s Hawkeye, one of the first post-launch heroes to be added in the game.

Marvel’s Avengers will be released simultaneously on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Stadia, and PC on September 4, 2020. Marvel’s Avengers will also be available for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X when these consoles are released by the end of the year 2020. Players who own the game for the current generation can upgrade to the next-gen version for free, so from PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5 or Xbox One to Xbox Series X. Players can also move their save files to the next-gen consoles, including their player profiles and progress so that they can continue playing on the new consoles from where they left off. In addition, support for cross-gen play allows PS5 players to play together with friends who play on the PS4, while Xbox Series X players can play together with their friends who play on an Xbox One.
