Tinkertown opens up Fast Travel Stations today!
A brand new update goes live today for Tinkertown, the multiplayer sandbox game from developer Headup. The so-called Travel Update adds a whole lot of convenience to the game, with the introduction of Fast Travel Stations and mountable Mine Carts, which allow players to travel faster between biomes. In addition, the update builds further on the previous Combat & Classes update, which brought more depth and balance to Tinkertown’s combat.
After updating their game, players can construct a complex railway system, and then use mountable mine carts to travel faster than ever before. If that isn’t enough, there are now also Fast Travel Stations, which allow players to instantaneously teleport between them. All players need to do is place one of these stations in each of their bases and the need to travel long distances between towns is instantly eradicated! The Travel Update is the next step going forward as Tinkertown heads towards its full release. The game is currently available in Early Access on Steam, courtesy of Headup and publisher Thunderful.
