Tormented Souls 2’s demo arrives on consoles

A new demo for Tormented Souls 2 is now available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, giving players their first taste of the game’s classic survival horror. The demo version offers roughly an hour of gameplay, beginning with protagonists Caroline and Anna Walker’s arrival at a convent-turned-clinic in Villa Hess. The opening introduces Sister Angelica, a member of the facility’s secretive order, and sets the stage for the sinister events that follow. As night falls, Mother Lucia, leader of the sisterhood, reveals her intent to capture the sisters and continue a twisted legacy. Players then assume control of Caroline as she awakens in the convent’s infirmary, tasked with navigating the unsettling environment, solving puzzles, and fending off disturbing creatures.
The sequel builds on the events of the first Tormented Souls game, in which Caroline survived the horrors of Wildberger Hospital. Now, she seeks a normal life with her sister Anna, only to be drawn into another nightmare when Anna’s disturbing visions begin to manifest as reality. Set in the remote Chilean town of Villa Hess, the game features multiple eerie locations, including a convent, an abandoned school, and a derelict shopping mall. Players can harness supernatural powers to alter timelines, explore alternate realities, and uncover hidden paths while engaging in combat with improvised weapons such as a pneumatic nailgun and chainsaw. Tormented Souls 2 is scheduled to launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store, and GOG.com on October 23rd. Demos are currently available across all three platforms. Players who preorder the game on PS5 will receive a 10% discount.
