Two new playable characters revealed for Mortal Kombat 11

Today, Warner Brod. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm have announced a new Mortal Kombat 11 gameplay trailer during the Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo. In this trailer, we see the reappearance of NooB Saibot. But there is more! Shang Tsung was announced to be the first downloadable content character (DLC). Actor Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa is used to voice the character.

But who are these two characters? Let us explain!

  • Noob Saibot is the original Sub-Zero and was once known as Bi-Han. He was a cold-blooded murderer and was killed by Scorpion, his enemy. He came back to life as Noob Saibot, who is timid and mysterious and knows no remorse. He sees himself as the perfect warrior and using his ninja-like skills and phantom skills for pure evil.
  • Shang Tsung was the organizer of the first Mortal-Kombat tournament and a loyal servant of Shao Khan. He is a powerful wizard who absorbs living souls to keep his youthful appearance. He can also shapeshift into other characters to use the moves of his enemies against themselves in battle. Shang Tsung is one of the six playable DLC warriors from the Kombat package that’s part of the Premium Edition and Kollector’s Edition for Mortal Kombat 11.

Noob Saibot and Shang Tsung have been added to a growing list of playable Mortal Kombat warriors likeScorpion, Raiden, Sub-Zero, Sonya Blade, Skarlet, Baraka, Geras, Kano, D’Vorah, Kabal, Jade, Johnny Cage, Cassie Cage, Erron Black, Jacqui Briggs, and Kotal Kahn.
