Warhammer 40,000: Darktide gets a massive anniversary update
Warhammer 40,000: Darktide celebrates its one year anniversary with a big two-part update, featuring a bunch of new content for players to experience. Following the award-winning Vermintide franchise, which is set in the medieval world of Warhammer Fantas , this action-packed sci-fi game gathers up to 4 players together in the hive city of Tertium for some co-op action in the 41st Millennium. Fight together against hordes of enemies and enhance your characters as you strive to reclaim the city.
With this newest update, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide – The Traitor Curse, you’ll be able to get even more out of the game. The first part will be released this month and features brand-new cinematics that showcase the motivations of the Moebian 6th as well as introduce The Carnival; a disreputable zone where you will take on new missions and hordes of enemies. Alongside these new experiences comes an inspect feature that will let you take a look at players’ loadouts within the Morningstar. Lastly, veteran players will be able to enjoy tweaks to the Veteran tree, including the addition of Keystones. Take note that the talent tree will be reset due to these changes, and Veterans will have to reassign their talent points.
All of this will be included in the first part of the update, with the second part arriving in December. More information about this second wave of content will be released soon.
