Warhammer: Chaosbane gameplay video with audio commentary released
BigBen and Eko Software are pleased to present the first gameplay video with audio commentary of Warhammer: Chaosbane. The video is recorded from the Gamescom demo.
The shown mission takes place in the sewers of the imperial city Nuln, which is intruded by servants of the Chaos god Nurgle. This is where we meet the first of two playable character from Warhammer: Chaosbane: Konrad Vollen, captain of the empire and a specialist in close combat attacks, and an Elf looking mage with devastating long range attacks.
The first few minutes of the gameplay show that it’s important to collaborate between the different classes, each with its own unique gameplay and skills. The spells that are being used in this video are just an example of the 45 skills that every character can use. There is also a teaser of a new mechanic for Warhammer: Chaosbane called bloodlust. A devastating power which can be used to gain access to even more powerful skill which can completely turn around a battle.
Warhammer: Chaosbane is the first action-RPG that takes place in the world of Warhammer Fantasy Battles and invites players to the heart of the old world that is still inflicted by the big war against Chaos. Players can take the role of a human, high elf, wood elf or a dwarf and discover iconic locations, like the cursed city Praag of Nuln, the capital of the empire.
Warhammer: Chaosbane is currently in development and is coming to consoles and PC in 2019.
