We got the first details about Outward 2
Nine Dots Studio did pretty well with Outward, an open-world RPG with a retro vibe and classical fantasy setting. Nearly five years after its release in 2019, the devs finally saw fit to tease us with details on the sequel during an interview at New Game+ Showcase. Aside from confirming that Outward 2 will come to Early Access this summer, we also got our first glimpse at gameplay, which you can see in the video below. The most notable features are those that set Outward 2 apart from other RPGs, such as the advanced magic system, a world with a full seasonal cycle where things around you change with the passage of time, and the new Exercise system where you passively gain skills. Interestingly enough, Outward 2 will also have co-op through split screen or online.
