Wolfenstein: The New Order
Wolfenstein is a name everyone who plays video games should know. Wolfenstein 3D was the first FPS game.
The last game in the Wolfenstein franchise was aptly titled Wolfenstein for the PS3, 360, and PC back in 2009 and the game was, at least story wise, a sequel to the much beloved Return to Castle Wolfenstein game that was popular for its multiplayer on the PC.
You’re jumping into the boots of B.J. Blazkowicz, and takes place in the 1960’s where the Nazi’s won WWII and have taken over much of the world.
The game is being powered by id Tech 5 which powered Rage, and is being developed by MachineGames headed up by developers from Starbreeze Studios which created, Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay and The Darkness.
Wolfenstein: The New Order is set to release sometime in Q4 of 2013 for the 360, PS3, PC, and ‘Next Generation Consoles’.
