WRC Generations reveals new gamemode as its release draws near
The release of WRC Generations draws ever closer. This official FIA World Rally Championship racing game developed by NACON en studio KT Racing is releasing on November 3 for most consoles and PC, with a Switch release also taking place on December 1st. The developers today announced details of a game mode in the game called Leagues-mode. This is a mode where players compete in a championship through various rounds to win ever-grander titles online against other players. You can play it solo or as a team, but cross-platform play will be available (with exception of the before-mentioned Switch release). Leagues-mode will take place in what the game is calling ‘seasons’, each lasting several weeks. During these weeks players will have to earn a set amount of points to qualify for the next round. This will allow them to earn points and special items for the duration of that season, while also meaning new players can jump into the next season without other players getting a headstart. The first season will start on November 28.
