Xbox is going to blow your mind on Gamescom
One of the biggest gaming events is happening this week, being Gamescom in Cologne. Xbox is one of the attendees, providing around 25 playable titles at their stand. Of course, there is also some scoops, which was certainly the case today. During a special episode of Inside Xbox, a variety of new games and other goodies were shown.
First of all, there will be 8 new bundles and three new console designs for the Xbox console. This will also include the first Xbox One X Special Edition pack, namely a bundle with Battlefield V (Xbox One X Gold Rush Special Edition: Battlefield V). There will also be a new wireless controller, namely the limited edition of PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS while there are also new options for the Xbox Design Lab on the way. The new mobile app from the Xbox Game Pass has been released as a beta version. In this app, you’ll be able to search for new games and even download them on your console.
If you were waiting for Forza Horizon 4, Xbox showed some more info about the new competitive multiplayer mode called Team Adventure. On the other hand, PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS (PUBG) is not going to be shown as a preview but do mark the 4th of September in your agenda as an official release date will be announced then. More game news as Ori and the Will of the Wisps was teased as well, as you could see some more details about the new Spirit Trials.
Some games will receive a content update and Sea of Thieves is one of them . The third update, The Forsaken Shores, will release on the 19th of September. You’ll be able to venture in The Devil’s Roar, where some dangerous situations will be right around the corner. Even more; State of Decay 2 will also get some new content, so get your zombie-killing skills ready.
Last but not least, more than 220 games have been altered to run smoothly and perfectly on the Xbox One X. For example, you’ll be able to dive into Fallout 76, The Division 2, Red Dead Redemption 2, Kingdom Hearts 3, Battlefield V, Call of Duty: Black Ops IV , Shadow of the Tomb Raider and so many more. As you might see, get ready for a lot of new content this year for your Xbox console.
