You can now pre-order Atelier Marie Remake: The Alchemist of Salburg
After our most recent positive experiences with the Atelier games, it’s nice to see that some older games of the series are getting new love as well. Atelier Marie: The Alchemist of Salburg is originally a game for the PlayStation 1 that also got released on the Dreamcast and PlayStation 2. Atelier Marie Remake: The Alchemist of Salburg is supposed to re-imagine the entire game for the modern era, planning a release on July 13th, 2023 for Nintendo Switch, PS4/5, and PC. Players who pre-order the game get a small extra item pack, but those who buy the Digital Deluxe Edition also get the original game, extra background music, and an extra Costume Set.
In Atelier Marie Remake: The Alchemist of Salburg, Marie is a student attending the Royal Magic Academy. Marie is getting poor grades and her teacher gives her five years to create an item of great capabilities. She will need to venture outside the city to gather ingredients to synthesize objects and finish assignments. Also, she will be able to buy weapons and armor and hire adventurers to aid her. In celebration of the 25th Anniversary of the Atelier series, two free DLCs will also be available for all players from 13th July 2023 onward: the “25 Glasses” accessory, and the Atelier Series Legacy BGM Pack.
