Acer announced brand new laptops! The thinnest, The powerful, and the versatile.
The CES, Consumer Electronics Show, is a hot place to be for those interested in the new and upcoming consumer electronics. Innovation and expertise are in high demand, and that’s why giant brands such as Acer are also showcasing their hotness at events like these. During the CES 2018 in Las Vegas, they announced some new laptops for us to be awed by. Let’s take a look at what’s new!
The Swift 7 & The Spin 3
The Swift series was already known to be the thinnest on the Earth, but the Swift 7 breaks all records with a mere 8,98 millimeter (about 0,35 inch) skinny laptop. It’s designed for the mobile worker. It has a powerful i7 processor, 256 GB SSD, 8 GB LPDDR3 memory to work hard and fast and a battery that will last an entire workday (up to 10 hours). Besides a WLAN connector, it also has an Intel® XMM™ 4G LTE connector to connect to mobile networks while on the move. A great trustworthy mate for everybody who is on the move a lot, yet still wants comfort when at home or at a regular workplace. The Swift 7 price is not yet announced.

The Spin 3’s price, however, is already known. For € 549 or $649,95, this laptop will soon hit most stores. The main purpose of the Spin 3 is flexibility and relaxation or productivity for everybody. The Spin 3 has a 360-degree dual-torque hinge, allowing the user to transform the laptop into a tablet or screen as well. It will also have a powerful Intel processor and battery up to 12 hours to enjoy everything you would like to use it for.

The (New) Nitro 5 Gaming Laptop
Depending on how much power you want from the Nitro 5, gamers will have the opportunity to get an SSD up to 512 GB, and DDR4 memory up to 32 GB. Combined with the newest AMD Radeon™ RX560 graphic cards and AMD Ryzen™ mobile processors, the Nitro 5 truly gives the power that mobile gamers are looking for. Besides that, Acer delivers manual control and monitoring software for temperature and cooling fans. As a finishing touch, Dolby Audio™ Premium for proper sound, even when you don’t have any earplugs or external speakers. The new Acer Nitro will start in Europe at € 1099.

The Acer Chromebook 11
Chromebooks are known for their generally low prices, yet high productivity when it comes to simple work or entertainment. It’s highly adaptable when buying, so you can get exactly the one that fits your needs for the right price. For the Chromebook 11, Acer announced it will have up to 10 hours of battery life, no cooling fan, but silent and trustworthy cooling, making it ideal for busy spaces. Google Play will be fully supported, there will be 2 fast 3.1 USB ports and there is a choice if you want a touchscreen or not. Other important elements, such as RAM memory, are also adaptable. This also causes the price to differentiate depending on what you want your Chromebook 11 to be able to do.
