European release for Akiba’s Trip: Undead and Undressed announced
NIS America announced that there will be a European release of Akiba’s Trip: Undead and Undressed in the third quarter of this year. Originally Akiba’s Trip: Undead and Undressed was dubbed as Akiba’s Trip 2, which was released last year in Japan. Europeans will be able to play this exciting open-world action RPG developed by ACQUIRE on the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita in the autumn, right on time before the cold, harsh winter settles in.
Akiba’s Trip: Undead and Undressed is as the title suggests a game about the walking undead. It tells a tale of Nanashi, who was promised goods so rare that he could not refuse the offer that was made. Unfortunately he was transformed into a walking undead by accepted the offer. His undead life was spared by a bloody kiss of a Synthister hunter called Shizuku. To save Akihabara from going under by the worst kind of vampires, Shizuku, Nanashi and an organization that was named as the Akiba Freedom Fighters form an alliance to uncover the truth behind the Synthister plague.
The game features numerous missions in a virtual recreation of Akihabara, the popular Electronics Mecca based in Tokyo. With over 130 real-life shops that are accurately represented and all major outdoor locations that have been recreated, the game truly is a virtual tour of the Electric Town district. Additionally the game will feature a unique and customizable brawler-style combat where any object can be used as a weapon. Furthermore, the game features several endings and the player’s chosen paths will be able to change the story.
