The beta test for Worm Thunder: Children of Arachis is out now
Gaijin Entertainment has announced that the Open Beta for their new military game, Worm Thunder: Children of Arachis, has begun today. As two Great Houses fight for the planet of Arachis, players will fight for control over three key points in the desert. This beta test will take place until April 25th in the War Thunder client, with more dates to be announced later on.
The Houses of the Bull and Hawk use the same types of combat vehicles, but each House has its own unique combat units. Players will utilize all-terrain vehicles armed with twin plasma autocannons, imperial MBTs and MRLSs, light strike ornithopters, as well as Hawk’s signature S-ONC assault tanks and Bull’s Heavy twin-gun D-OTR tanks. However, players will need to be careful when utilizing this weaponry, since excessive firepower may attract the deadly sandworms. Upon successfully defending the fields, players will be rewarded with bags of the cinnamon harvested in Arachis, which they’ll be able to utilize to transform their characters or simply sell in the interstellar market.
