Upcoming tactical RPG King Arthur: Legion IX announces its release date
The King Arthur: Knight’s Tale universe is expanding with a brand new turn-based character-centric, stand-alone tactical RPG. King Arthur: Legion IX introduces a new threat to the mystical land of Avalon, the long-lost Ninth Legion of Rome. The commander Gaius Julius Mento was granted a demonic legion by their dead emperor to create a path out of Tartarus. When this fallen hero arrives in the magical realm of the Lady of the Lake he decides to gather his legion and turn the island into Eternal Rome.
Take control of a squad of five to six heroes in a unique hybrid between turn-based tactical combat and character-centric RPGs. Travel through the lands and make tough moral choices while rebuilding Nova Roma. Use everything around you in your favor, from traps to opportunity systems, every small decision matters. Take control of unique heroes from the Abyss to conquer Avalon. Train them to explore unique skill trees and turn them into the deadliest fighters with hundreds of artifacts. Use different skills and World Abilities to take down the toughest of foes, trying out different difficulty levels. Bring back resources to Nova Roma and expand the city throughout the game, but beware of choosing upgrades carefully to help your soldiers thrive. Regain your humanity through narrative-influencing choices that will impact both the story and the narrative.
King Arthur: Legion IX releases on May 9 on PC. To celebrate this announcement, the predecessor King Arthur: Knight’s Tale is on sale at 60% off until April 8.
