Achilles: Legends Untold Gets a free expansion and a Switch Release
Dark Point Games has announced that it the PS4 and Xbox One versions of 2023 action RPG Achilles: Legends Untold will be joined by a Nintendo Switch version set to arrive later this year. Inspired by Greek mythology, the game also receives a major update today called Fate of Moira. The Fate of Moira expansion adds new gameplay modes designed to challenge players with fresh mechanics and increased difficulty. One mode, nevitable Fate of Atropos, makes every hit lethal for both Achilles and his enemies, while Fate of Lachesis introduces an unstoppable pursuer immune to regular attacks. Finally, Fate of Clotho permanently drains Achilles’ health. These additions aim to expand the game’s experience beyond its original storyline and gameplay.
Since its release, Dark Point Games has continuously supported Achilles: Legends Untold with updates that include new quests, difficulty levels, and co-op maps. The game’s strong player feedback has led to a 91% positive rating on Steam. With the game now available on older consoles and a Nintendo Switch version on the horizon, the developers hope to reach an even broader audience. Achilles: Legends Untold is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. Dark Point Games is also working on Achilles: Survivor, a bullet-hell game set to enter Early Access in late 2024.
