Quest Master thaws Ice Temple update today
Apogee’s Zelda-Inspired dungeon maker Quest Master, a sandbox adventure game that combines classic dungeon crawling with creative possibilities, ends the year strong. A new Ice Temple Update has been added to the game’s Early Access Demo, ahead of the official release expected for Spring 2025. The new update adds the Coldfang Grottos design theme to the creation set for the dungeon-designing game. Besides adding new design elements it also adds various, new mechanics: the ability to freeze cold-blooded enemies with the Ice Rod which creates a pushable, weighted block but also freezing bodies of water to create a path while ice-encrusted items add a new level of complexity.
The game is currently available as Early Access on Steam but also has a free demo available and has sprouted a passionate and involved community, with already more than 3000 community creations. Besides this sandbox, there will also be a single-player campaign launching alongside the official launch in Spring where you can travel across Aetheria, and meet new characters while discovering all six of Aetheria’s biomes.
