Lara Croft’s Guide to Survival
The reboot of the Tomb Raider franchise is slowly approaching and in the newest guide to survival video you’ll discover how to explore the island.
Crystal Dynamics the developers of Tomb Raider want to make sure you’re ready to survive the dangerous island that Lara Croft becomes stranded on. In episode 2 of their guide to survival videos they show us how Lara Croft will make use of the Base Camp mechanic. Along with the Base Camp mechanic they also talk about ‘Gear Gating’ which is essentially the Metroidvania concept of areas that you encounter that you won’t be able to traverse until you get a mechanic later in the game.
You’ll be able to explore the island and raid it’s veritable treasure trove of Tombs on March 5th when Tomb Raider is released.
