Izle playable demo in celebration of Steam Greenlight
Indie developer Area Effect announced their first playable demo for Izle, their upcoming 3D procedurally generated action-adventure RPG to celebrate the greenlighting of the game. It’s scheduled for release on Steam (PC, Linux and Mac) as well as PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and WiiU.
Izle will allow its players to build their own world by terraforming magical islands (each randomly generated and ready to be explored) and summoning the power of the gods. It’s claimed to be a cross between Zelda, Minecraft and Dark Souls, wit exploration and combat challenging players to progress and survive. In the demo players are introduced to Izle’s narrative and access to the first four islands, and introducing the concept of terraforming. Other key features include truly destructible worlds, a vast world to explore, real time combat with fast paced melee and ranged action as well as magical spells and many more.
