The Story Goes On out now as Early Access
The Story Goes On is an action-packed adventure game, set in an endless maze best known as the Odyssey. This 8Bit styled beat ’em up is Texas based developers Scarecrow Arts debut game and is available on Steam since today as an early access game.
While the game is currently in Early Access, it already has several interesting key features:
- Randomized adventure: The maze you venture is in ever-changing. As you progress, the story continues but your fate may be a horrible one.
- Varied items: Not every treasure is for you to pick up but once in a while you may find something of use.
- Intense boss levels: A fierce band of thieves who dubbed themselves The Scar own the maze and guard it accordingly. In what form they guard is, is dependent on themselves as they may be man, animal or monster.
- Otherworld enemies: The Scar thieves are not the only creatures that roam the maze. In fact, other enemies you may face don’t even resemble anything of the human world.
- Challenging environments: The environment can be used as both your friend as well as your enemy.
So far the game has been praised as an addictive and well-developed game featuring plenty of enemies and great graphics but for the price of € 2,49 of its local equivalent, you may want to give it a try yourself.
