Bioshock Infinite Alternate Cover art
When Irrational first unveiled Bioshock Infinites box art there was a lot of people upset over it. Many gamers hated the box art for being ugly and boring, and catering toward the lowest common denominator.
Luckily Irrational announced shortly after that for those who hated the games box art they would release alternate covers that gamers could download and print off to use instead. Levine later stated why the box art was such a boiler plate kind of cover for the game centered around American Exceptianalism and parallel universes.
“I wanted the uninformed, the person who doesn’t read IGN, to pick up the box and say, ‘Okay this looks kind of cool, let me turn it over: oh, a flying city; look at this girl Elizabeth on the back; look at that creature.’ And start to read about it, start to think about it,” Levine said.
“The cover is a small price for the hardcore gamer to pay.”
You can now finally change the cover to your game as Irrational has released several alternate covers on their website that you can download and print off to replace the original one.
