A remade Amerzone: The Explorer’s Legacy breathes new life into first-person adventures
Perhaps you know the original Amerzone: The Explorer’s Legacy from 1999. This game was made by Benoît Sokal before he worked on the Syberia-games. There is now a remake coming with new graphics and enhanced puzzles for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. This remake will be released somewhere in 2024. In the new Amerzone – The Explorer’s Legacy, players go to a mysterious Latin American realm that promises the same exciting adventure, but fully reimagined. Get engulfed in the past of a legendary explorer as a journalist, go through the ruins of long-forgotten places, and figure out what mystery surrounds the mythic Great White Birds. For fans of first-person mystery game adventures such as Myst, this might be a great flash from the past settled in the modern age.
