Ace Combat returns with Wings of Theve
After a seven-year gap between game releases for this series, Bandai Namco announced at The Game Awards that there’ll be another entry in their famous Ace Combat franchise. Our most recent encounter with them was when we reviewed the deluxe edition of Ace Combat 7, a game that was enjoyed by many people. Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve harnesses all the power of the Unreal Engine 5 to make this combat flight simulator look more gorgeous than it ever has. On top of that, the devs promise a realistic and immersive control system to make the flying feel better for players, and an emotional, deep story. The launch trailer below seems to focus on said solo campaign, though multiplayer will also be available. Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve is planned for 2026, when it will release on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
