The Aspire Switch 12 has a 12,5-inch full HD (1920×1080) display, for extra durability the screen of the Switch 12 has been covered with Corning’s Gorilla Glass. This has been treated with a special coating against fingerprints.

The system is being powered by a new Intel Core M processor, which should provide a boost in performance power and significant drop in energy usage. Acer claims that it can last up to 8 hours while on video playback.

The Switch 12 offers dual WIFI antennas and there are also USB 3.0, USB 2.0 and micro-HDMI ports.

Acer’s Aspire Switch 12 will hit the shelves near the end of November 2014 for a price of 649 euros.
