Activision Blizzard directs focus to video and television media with a new studio
Earlier today, producer Activision Blizzard has surprised the world with the introduction of Activision Blizzard Studios, a new movie-and television studio intended to develop fresh content heavily inspired on the company’s renowned franchises. Activision Blizzard’s repertoire contains games that have been and still are loved and played globally for many years. These include some legendary series such as Skylanders and Call of Duty.
Activision Blizzard also announced some projects in the pipeline. The first production will be Skylanders Academy, an animated tv-show based on the Skylanders game. Also announced is a series of feature films surrounding the popular Call of Duty franchise. Although this promise is still very vague, the take-home message is that dedicated viewers will soon be able to see their fan favourites come to live.
