Actraiser Renaissance gets remastered and released on modern platforms
Square Enix’s 2D platformer and city-builder hybrid Actraiser Renaissance has been remastered and will be available soon for modern platforms. As the Lord of Light, it’s your task to enrich your realm and make sure it expands while keeping out forces of evil that want to attack you. Jup, this game lets you play god! It’s an even mix between 2D platform action and more unique city-builder mechanics. Originally released 30 years ago, the game now gets a beautiful remaster with updated HD graphics, added real-time strategy features, and a new soundtrack you can exchange freely with the old one.
Actraiser Renaissance is available on PC, PS4, and Switch. Buying it before November 1 will give players a free wallpaper and mini-soundtrack to enjoy. If you’re curious, the trailer for this remaster can be found down below.
