Alien: Isolation shows off the Nostromo edition in the newest trailer
Alien: Isolation will be available on October 7th for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PC.
In other Alien titles, it would be a gun totting hero, making mincemeat out of the extraterrestrial threat, while here you’ll be doing your best to stay out of sight of the beast. With little or no weaponry, from what is being shown it’ll mostly down to heartpounding stealth. and keeping the alien at bay. As the game progresses, it’ll pick up on your behaviour and your actions, learning about your tactics and making things more interesting, difficult and intense.
The Nostromo Edition is a pre order bonus to the game.
Alien: Isolation takes place fifteen years after the original events of Alien™. The Nostromo has self-destructed and Ellen Ripley is in hyper sleep and lost in space, having defeated the Xenomorph. Weyland-Yutani believes the disappearance of the Nostromo is a fatally tragic accident and nothing more is heard from the ship or her passengers. However, shortly before its destruction, the Nostromo’s Black Box flight recorder is ejected. Fifteen years later it is found and brought to Sevastopol, a remote trading station.
