Aliens: Dark Descent debuts with a gameplay trailer
Tindalos Interactive in collaboration with Focus Entertainment has announced the release of their newest game, Aliens: Dark Descent, a turn based tactics take on the Aliens universe. The game will be available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC in June 20, 2023. In Aliens: Dark Descent players will need to recruit, develop, and command a squad of Colonial Marines in real-time combat against not just Xenomorphs but also rogue operatives from the Weyland-Yutani Corporation and a host of other horrifying creatures.
In the game players will command a platoon of Colonial Marines to stop a Xenomorph outbreak. To do so they’ll have to navigate large open levels while treading careful since death is permanent and foes constantly adapt. By uncovering shortcuts and creating safe zones they’ll be able to permanently impact the levels.
Alongside this, players will have access to a slew of unique classes. By specializing soldier with unique abilities and an arsenal of weapons and perks, they’ll be able to wipe out the enemy. In order to do so however they’ll need to develop and research new tech in their base as they carefully manage resources.
