What is a scary place to be at? Space? Your mother-in-law’s? Water can be terrifying too with its unknown depths and uncomfortable environment to move around in. It’s what made games such as Subnautica great, and that’s why people call this new multiplayer horror game a combination of popular surprise Lethal Company and Subnautica. In Murky Divers, as the game is called, you and your friends go on a sub-ride in the deep waters. You don’t know for sure what is happening outside, but once you get to abandoned wrecks it’s time to get out and collect evidence left behind by your lab to make sure it does not get in legal troubles. Judging by the trailer it’s pretty good, but let’s see how well it’s made and if it improved on points where other co-op horror games dropped the ball when Murky Divers releases on June 19th, 2024.
