AudioClash: Battle of the Bands Gets August Release
The launch date for AudioClash: Battle of the Bands, the free-to-play rock music competition game, is finally announced: the game will become available on August 17 on Steam, in Early Access. The playable roster at launch sees now the valuable addition of YouTube cover artist Jonathan Young, whose metal renditions of anime openings, pop hits, and songs from animated movies have earned hundreds of millions of views.
AudioClash: Battle of the Bands stems from the imaginative minds of The Living Tombstone, a band famous for making music about video games, who now decided to create a video game about making music. The result? An original musical-deck game!
Play the part of a band manager and assemble a team of fictional rockers with eclectic personalities, looks, and powers. Use your cards to make quick decisions between each round, and dedicate your heroes to different roles: casting buffs with the drummer, dealing critical damage as the lead guitarist, or even absorbing enemy hits as a bassist. Collect hundreds of customization items, from instruments to headgear, and level up the band with new ability-granting cards.
