Bandai Namco Europe announces free-to-play My Hero Ultra Rumble
Anybody who is even slightly active in the anime scene will know what My Hero Academia is. This popular anime has been taking the world by storm for a few years, and it’s no surprise that several spin-off media and video games have poured out of the franchise since then. Today, news breaks that Bandai Namco Europe is wanting to capitalize too, joining studio BYKING. They are releasing a free-to-play online multiplayer battle royale game called My Hero Ultra Rumble, based on the My Hero Academia world. In teams of three, players step into the shoes of beloved characters from the show as either heroes or villains and engage in superpowered combat. For now, the game is set to come out on PS4, Xbox One, PC and Switch. A closed beta you can register for now will run in August. Registering can be done here.
