After selling over 400,000 copies on Steam, developer Hovgaard Games and publisher 2Awesome Studio today announced that they are bringing their business sandbox sim Startup Company to consoles next year. In Startup Company Console Edition, players will be able to start their own enterprise and aim to grow from a small startup into a profitable corporate giant. This is easier said than done, of course, as they’ll need to balance every aspect of their budding business, from hiring expert staff to keeping the office space and layout in line with company growth. Not to mention balancing salaries and keeping employees happy.
If CEO of your own virtual company sounds like a job for you, then you won’t have to wait too long either. Startup Company Console Edition launches Thursday, Jan. 26, 2023 for $12.99 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. Of course, you can already pick up the game on PC via Steam.
